Various possibilities exist for collecting, organising, and sharing documentation. In these pages you will find samples of some of them.

There is not one way that can be considered better than all the other – it all depends on the type of documentation, who you try to reach, and how the on-going editing and publishing process can best be arranged.


First, we have the wiki, a very useful idea for gathering the knowledge from a group of people who can each contribute a bit or a lot to various topics. For the reader, the heavy use of hyperlinks makes it easy to follow an individual line of thoughts, providing exactly the knowledge that is relevant for that person in that moment.

The documentation may be written in a content management system like WordPress and then arranged automatically for presentation by a plugin.
